The victory column (Siegessaeule) is a monument that stands in the middle of Berlin. On the top of it is a golden Angel. You can see it almost from everywhere in Berlin or it can see you. This fact was the inspiration for Wim Wenders Movie “Sky over Berlin” or the US Remake “City of Angels” with Nicholas Cage.
I like the perspective beneath the Angel, because it gives you a feeling of how big he is and of his holiness that you can not touch.
